Welcome
On behalf of the new board members we would like to welcome everyone back for another great season of golf. We are excited about the events and Tournaments we are planning for the year. I’m sure everyone is a little tired of the rain and ready for Mother nature to bring us some nice weather so we can get out there and work on our golf game. We will start the season off this month with our General meeting and Rules seminar on February 20th.

Hi Ladies, General Beauregard (Atlanta’s groundhog) predicted an early spring, but what does he mean and where did he say that would be? I think Puxsautawney Phil ( Philadelphia’s groundhog) has it right. Let’s hope there is an end to this cold, wet, dreary winter. The board has been working on this year’s events and are looking forward to the beginning of the 2010 golf season. Our committee chairpersons would certainly appreciate your help, so call anyone of us and volunteer. In order for the HMWGA to be successful we need your help and support.In addition we welcome any and all suggestions you may have. Please bring them with you to the General Meeting/Rules seminar on February 20th and deposit them in the suggestion box.

We will have coffee and cookies. There will be tee times available after the rules seminar for those of you wishing to play. Please sign up with Wilma Facazio willie796@yahoo.com by Feb.16th.
We will have Membership Applications Available and also have a suggestion box at the Meeting.

Wine and Cheese Social
Mark your Calendars for The Wine and Cheese social coming up on March 2nd at 7:00 pm. Rebecca Crenshaw has graciously offered to host this event at her house. We will have a suggestion box so bring your ideas.
Spring Fling
Our first tournament will be the Spring Fling which is scheduled for March 20th.

I am attaching a copy of this years Membership application along with this newsetter. Please fill it out and mail the form and your check to me: Robin Mikan, 3875 Greenside Ct., Dacula, Ga. 30019. We will have applications available at our General meeting/rules seminar or you may pick one up in the ladies locker room. We would like to encourage you to please send in your applications before March 20th, which is the date scheduled for our Spring Fling Tournament.
